When mental chanting (chanting to yourself in silence) your mantra the first step is to connect to the sound vibration of your mantra.
- Find a seated position where your spine is long and upright
- Connect with you breath *This is a prerequisite. If you cannot connect to your breath it is not time for you to connect with sound. Practice connecting with your breath. See connecting with breath blog.
- Begin to find your mental mantra and repeat your mantra for 10 min.
- Notice your words
- What feeling connects you to that word
- Take out words that have no feeling attached
- Repeat the word you are left with and tune into the feeling. It is in the feeling you will find the vibration of you mantra.
