The month of January we take a deep dive into the topic of Intention
What is an Intention?
In Yoga setting an intention is called a Sankalpa. (Sanskrit: सङ्कल्प) means an intention formed by the heart and mind — a solemn vow, determination, or will. In practical terms a Sankalpa means a one-pointed resolve to focus both psychologically and philosophically on a specific goal.
How do we set an intention?
1. We think about what it is we would like to create.
2. We begin to feel the energy of this creation.
3. We form a word, phrase or sentence around this energy.
