Reflection is a way to begin observing yourself. With the reflection process you may begin to see your behaviours, patterns and energies and how they move you around on your path. If we truly open our eyes to our own individual reflection these behaviours, patterns and energies will always arise. If we are to grow and change with time and space then we must learn to reflect. Learning how to move backwards into the past without emotional ties but with a reflective lens. Then we can use this reflective lenses to paint a clearer picture of our path to the future. We can start to use reflection as a potential energy. This power once reflected on then becomes released as transferable energy.

Today is my birthday. I realized over the past few years how I wanted to live my life. My life is important to me and cherishing each day and being grateful for our natural ebbs and flows of this divine life is the most important gift of all. I choose to celebrate each day not just one day. Age is less important then divine wisdom and light. Other peoples praise or acceptance is less important then my true authentic self. Learning to be me in every inch of my vibration is what it really is all about. That is the gift of my birth.

Yoga Studio Etiquette is perhaps a little different then yoga you have done at work or in a gym. Here are a few tips to make your journey a little stronger.

-Please arrive 10 min early to sign and put your mat down

– The studio door will close when class starts and late entry will not be allowed as it disrupts the centering and grounding of the practice.

-Please stay for the full class. Leaving during meditation or before disrupts the practice of others. This quiet time at the end of class is where you integrate all the work you have done with your body and mind.

– Turn off your cell phone.

– Please avoid strong scents during your practice.

– Open the mind, lengthen the body and let go of stress.

A guru is a person or being who has surpassed the vibration of understanding. Gurus can pass down their knowledge from their vibration. There is no ego with a guru and they are enlightened.

It is so amazing to see yoga recognized around the world. Yoga brings connection, harmony and peace to all.

International Day of Yoga, or commonly and unofficially referred to as Yoga Day, is celebrated annually on 21 June since its inception in 2015. An international day for yoga was declared unanimously by the United Nations General Assembly.

We went to a book signing over the weekend for Caroline Pignats new book “Poetree”. It is such a great way to introduce young readers to this beautiful art form.  Carloline writes with such grace as she moves us through her book with the vibrations of what each season offers us. Brenna will be using this book to teach her young boys yoga through the summer season.
