The meaning of ayurveda is science of life, it is designed to help people stay vibrant and healthy while realizing their full potential.we all are part of nature and in order for us to stay vibrant and healthy we need to align ourselves with the natural rhythm of nature.according to ayurveda the whole universe is made of 5 elements-

Everything from a rock to single cell organism in the human body has these 5 elements. These 5 elements create 3 biological forces that are known as vata pitta kapha known as Dosha in Ayurveda. These 3 dosha control all the physiological and psychological functions of human body.

Homeostasis is about finding balance in our internal system. Here are a few ways that we can help set up our internal system for the best possible results.


  1. BALANCE POSES: Find time to do a balance posture daily. This can be as simple as waiting for the washroom and standing on one foot then the other. Balance postures give us a direct reading of our internal balance. When we are off balanced we can use our focus and bring our physical body back into a balanced state.
  2. BREATHING: Breathing full complete breaths can help us tune our internal muscles and create a positive feedback loop in our body letting other systems now we are now ready to bring balance back in.
  3. MENTAL GAME: This mental game can be pretty tough. We have so many ingrained patterns cultured by our environment and how we feel about ourselves. This is many times shaped by our external world. This negative dialogue and self clutter short circuits our hormones and throws our internal body off. Connecting to the vibration of positive thoughts or mantras can help bring the balance back. For example a mantra I use a lot is  ” I am I am” This helps me connect to who I really am without the bad and without the good.

Durning bluesfest in Ottawa I always treat myself to some outdoor concerts. I find live music uplifting and soul connecting. As I move more into my natural rhythm I begin to care less of what people think and move in the ways I feel like moving. Music helps us release. This year at the CHROMEO concert, the musician asked everyone to get up on someones shoulders for his song. This gentleman leaned over to me and said, “I think I can hold you if you want to get on my shoulders” I said no at first but then I was like you only live once right. Why not! So I did and had the best time of my life!

As we embark on this journey here on earth we will encounter many souls that are meant to guide us in our direction home. Every relationship we encounter has much to teach us when we are ready to be taught.

Soul mates are our partners that we connect with in either body mind or spirit or all three. These deep connections open our consciousness up to another level of connection. We can have many soul mates throughout our life on earth.

Twin flame is your other half. These do not show up often in ones life and we may not be ready even if our flame does present itself. Our job is to work with our soul mates to prepare our body, mind and soul for this encounter with our flame. This relationship of coming back home to your flame reconnects every aspect of your being with every aspect of your soul.

CBD’s & Healing on a present level

I have thought a long time about writing this blog but have held back. I have so many clients and friends ask me about it that I thought it might be a good idea to write about it.

For many of you who know me know that I suffer from anxiety and bipolar disorder. I have refused medication my whole life as I have lots of tools like mediation and yoga in my life which helps heal as well as mitigate the negative effects of anxiety and the highs and lows of bipolar. Many of us cannot cope without medication but there is a new medication on the market that takes the CBD’s out of marijuana and then it can be ingested by oil. This oil not only helps you become present in your state of anxiety at a functional level it also heals you on a vibrational level. As when you become present you can release those patterns of emotions that create the anxiety. Doctors still do not want to give out these licenses but I have included a referral form in this blog so that you can print it out and give it to your doctor. Remember that it is good to find a balance of self healing tools to aid in your healing process as well as not relying on any medication for extended periods of time.
