Each month I have a weekend where I heal pretty deep and this weekend was no exception. On the Friday I had my somatic and body talk session in which we started to reconnect some of the energy in my pelvis. As we connected the energy again I could feel my body responding and actually start to feel sensations in my pelvic region which I have never been able to do before. I felt my gluts and hips start to open and release and with this came sadness and pain. The next day I meditated, walked in nature and then participated in my monthly breath work circe. This one was big. My body shifted and moved in huge ways. At one point the pain came out with a noise that can not be explained, my body lifted off the ground and was held with breath as I let out all my pain and then cried deeply. After this release I felt open and free. The pain was gone. Then I went to dance and move my body at an ecstatic dance. The reason I write about my healing journey is to help others find theres. There are so many options out there if you are ready to do the work. Please contact me if you are interested in healing and ready for the next layer of transformation.

One love. We must feel to heal.

Extend your awareness

Into the bodies of other living beings,

Feel what those others are feeling.

Leave aside your body and its needs.

Abandon being so local.

Day by day, constrictions will loosen,

As you become attuned

To the current of life

Flowing through us all.

Chakras are wheels of energy in our body. These energy systems are designed to help us connect to different parts of our nervous system and awaken SUSHUMMA. Sushumma is our psychic passage within the spinal column.

Meditation and visualization on the location of the 7 major chakras can help connect deeper to our psychic passage.

Mooladhara: Root- Very base of the spine where the coccyx turns up. The first spot on the spine.

Swadhisthana: Sacaral- At the sacrum of our spine.

Manipura: Behind the belly button on the spine.

Anahata: Behind the base of the heart on the spine.

Vishuddhi: Lies at the level of the throat pit on the spine.

Ajna: Third eye: Pineal Gland.

Bindu: Located at the top back of the head

Sahasra: Top of the head. Pituitary gland.

An awakening gives us a full vision of the past, present and future. When we awaken we become lucid on every level.  Here are 10 methods used to awaken.

  1. Awaken from Birth: These are saints and the gurus. It is said that we will have many more awakening from birth as we become more evolved and have more evolved children.
  2. Mantra Practice: Steady and regular practice of mantra. The sound the mantra creates permeates every part of your brain and purifies your whole physical, mental and emotional body. Mantra’s are given by guru.
  3. Tapasya: Purification or performance of austerities.  This is a life of purity and willpower. Living clean and pure in body, mind, and soul.
  4. Herbs (Aushadi): Specific herbs can fast track your awakening. Aushadi is a very risky and unreliable method for awakening.
  5. Raja Yoga: This yoga is intended to achieve control over the mind and emotions. This process takes time in seated meditation and brings about a slow transformation of consciousness.
  6. Pranayama: Intense breath work in a calm, cool and quiet environment. This awakening can be very rapid and should be practiced with a guide.
  7. Kriya Yoga: The most simple and practical awakening is through postures, breath work and meditation.
  8. Tantric Initiation: This awakening is only for a very few special chosen ones. The guidance of a guru who seeks those ready for this initiation. This is the quickest possible way to awaken.
  9. Shaktipat: Again this awakening is performed by a guru and is instant but in this awakening you only receive a glimpse of what it looks like not a permanent awakening.
  10. Self – Surrender: This type of awakening happens on it’s own. The path will lead you into your own self-surrender and once you have surrender you will awaken instantly.

Magnesium deficiency is an electrolyte disturbance in which there is a low level of magnesium in the body. It can result in numerous symptoms. Symptoms include tremor, poor coordination, muscle spasms, loss of appetite, personality changes, and fatigue.

Addressing a magnesium deficiency can be as easy as taking three relaxing magnesium chloride baths each week aka an Epsom Salt Bath.

We are energy. When our body gets sick or out of alignment we loose energy. In order to heal we need to raise our vibration. Here are some ways to raise your vibration:

Gratitude Practice:

Start every morning with thinking and feeling grateful.

Start a gratitude journal and every night write down what you were grateful for that day.

At meal time share what you are grateful for before you eat.

Stretching, Strengthening & Meditation:

Practice movement and meditation daily to move your body, clear your mind and become mindful in your movement.

Essential Oils:

Use natural oils to clean, to diffuse, to infuse.

Eat well. Food that is alive and full of nutrients to support your digestive system and your gut brain.

Buy less, Do service work and live a simple life.

Let go of all negative thoughts and people in your life.

This month we take a deep dive into living with purpose. This theme explores deeper questions of life. Exploring questions such as what are you here for and what does your life mean to you can help you reach deeper levels of your truth and understanding. When we live life with a purpose life becomes fulfilling and abundant. We feel blessed to be here as we have a purpose for our life and that alone is rewarding.

The old ways of reprogramming were to hook you up to a device and give you an electric shock to cause a mini seizure in your brain. Psychiatrists would say this is like resting the brain back to normal. This seems absurd these days. Abrasive therapies can have long lasting effects on the body. One gentle way to reprogram and reset your mind is to move the body. Yoga is a gentle and effective way to move the body and connect the breath. Once we make these deep connections with our body and breath we begin to see changes in our mind. We are creating space for new programs.
