Don’t ever let anyone dim your sparkle
This month we take a look at our self worth. On the journey of yoga we find our self worth through our 3rd chakra. The Solar plexus is a personal power center.
This month we look at how we value ourselves. What do we use to evaluate our self worth? Looking at how we validate our self worth and where and when these patterns arise can help us bring back balance to this 3rd chakra.
Here is a list of ways we can start to bring balance into the solar plexus;
Sunshine- Get outside as much as possible and let the sunshine on your skin. When natural sunlight hits the skin it triggers the body’s production of vitamin D. Vitamin D is also known as “the sunshine vitamin.” It is a crucial ingredient for overall health; protects against inflammation, lowers high blood pressure, helps muscles, improves brain function and may even protect against cancer.
Exercise- People who exercise regularly tend to do so because it gives them an enormous sense of well-being. They feel more energetic throughout the day, sleep better at night, have sharper memories, and feel more relaxed and positive about themselves and their lives. And it’s also a powerful medicine for many common mental health challenges.
Challenges vs problems- They key difference between a challenge and a problem is that while a challenge is a demanding task that an individual wishes to overcome, a problem is something difficult to deal with or understand that hinders the progress of the individual.
Positive self talk- Just simply changing the narrative you say to yourself can change how you feel about yourself.
Yoga Meditation Breathwork- Amazing benefits of taking time each day to connect to the body, mind and spirit can help us feel more at home in our own skin.
Intentions- Setting intentions can give us a natural drive increase our self worth.
Gratitude-Start and ending the day with the things you are grateful for helps us see the joy in our life.
