How to connect to the vibration of your mantra

When mental chanting (chanting to yourself in silence)  your mantra the first step is to connect to the sound vibration of your mantra.

  1. Find a seated position where your spine is long and upright
  2. Connect with you breath *This is a prerequisite. If you cannot connect to your breath it is not time for you to connect with sound. Practice connecting with your breath. See connecting with breath blog.
  3. Begin to find your mental mantra and repeat your mantra for 10 min.


  • Notice your words
  • What feeling connects you to that word
  • Take out words that have no feeling attached
  • Repeat the word you are left with and tune into the feeling. It is in the feeling you will find the vibration of you mantra.
