This is a great question. Authenticity is about being truly you. So how do you bring you into your yoga practice? The first tip is to start every class with a body scan to see where your body is in that present moment. Once you have an idea where your body is you can move into the body and start where it is. If we start where we think we are without first checking or tuning in we can disregulate our energy. This means we can block or create excess energy that will put us out of balance. If we tune or check into the body first, find out where we truly are and start from there we can balance our energy with our practice.
