Breathwork & Reiki

Breathwork is the most accessible healing tool available to us. It allows us to release “not enough” and take in our personal power so that we can embody self love.
 
Over time, breathwork has helped me peel layers of social and family conditioning. It helped me let go of being a walking wound-always a victim, waiting for someone else to make it better. It gave me a way to move out all the anger, resentment, fear, loneliness and disappointment from my body. It helped me fill up from inside with self love and grace. It deepened my connection to my intuition, my creativity and my faith. It made me feel whole and not broken.
 
Breathwork is a way through pain. It can release a lifetime of not feeling good enough, not feeling supported, not feeling safe to be who you are, or feeling like you have to do it all on your own. It can release whatever has been heavy on your soul. When you learn how to fill yourself up with grace, you raise your emotional frequency.
 
Breathwork can increase your vibration you hold in your body so that you invite higher vibrational experiences and people into your life. You see, on the other side of pain and fear is joy, hope, peace and love-all with no more conditions.
 
Come and breathe, come and heal, come and find your soul.
 
As a compliment to the breath work experience, Reiki will also be offered. Reiki is a beautiful way to release energy that is no longer serving your highest good, in order to make room for more positive and loving energy. This gentle energy exchange focuses on the parts of your body that need it most. Providing a positive energy flow and promoting the healing and harmonizing of the body, mind and spirit.
 
Please bring a water bottle, wear layers to keep warm and a yoga mat.

Soundbath

Sound baths are meant to help facilitate a shift in your brainwave state. Through frequency and entrainment with sound it’s possible, and very easy, to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), with the majority of people able to reach theta (meditative state) and even delta (where internal healing can occur). This experience is helpful for anyone who wants to give themselves a moment of relaxation or gain the benefits from meditation.
The sounds are created by a wide range of instruments with different frequencies which can include pulse drumming, Biosonic tuning forks, gongs, shruti box, Himalayan singing bowl, mbiru, various percussion, chimes, and gongs.

Yoga Tune Up®

Do you want to: Decrease pain and stress? Learn some relaxation techniques? Improve mobility, flexibility, balance and coordination?

Come join us for an afternoon of rolling away your aches and pains, Yoga Tune Up® style! This workshop combines elements of yoga, self-myofascial release (self-massage) and breathwork. You will walk away with the tools and techniques to self-treat your entire body and a feeling of empowerment to take your health into your own hands. Yoga Tune Up® is a unique self-care therapy format that uses Roll Model® Therapy Balls to help you identify body blind spots: areas of your body that are catalysts for pain and injury. These areas are often overused, underused or misused and need to be felt, seen and heard by you. This 2-hour workshop will teach you to treat the entire body, and aims to empower you to live better in your body.

Mala Making Workshop

A mala is a garland of 108 beads that are strung + knotted by hand, and used in prayer or in meditation, to count repetitions of a mantra. You’re invited to gather in circle with Yogi + Crafter Sadie to design, string and knot our own, unique mala. Learn the history of prayer beads and the significance of the number ‘108’ as Sadie leads you through the process of selecting beads, laying out your pattern, stringing + knotting your mala. We’ll close our gathering with a short, guided meditation using mantra and our newly crafted malas!

Functional Yoga Teacher Training

Functional Yoga Teacher Training is a two-day workshop lead by Tatianna Graham (Physiotherapist, Yoga Instructor) and Brenna Bellhouse (Educator, Yoga Studio Owner). The workshop is geared towards physical education teachers and other teachers who are interested in incorporating yoga into their curriculum. After completing the FYT workshop, teachers will receive an FYT certification and be able to confidently lead their students in a basic physical yoga practice. The benefits of yoga are tremendous. To name a few, yoga fosters mind-body awareness, physical strength and flexibility, confidence, enhanced sport performance, focus, and improves sleep. Research tells us that there are many positive effects of practicing yoga in schools. There is no minimum age that is required to begin practicing yoga; however, being able to teach yoga effectively and safely is key to truly reap its benefits. This is why Tatianna and Brenna have created this program, as they are passionate about introducing yoga to the school communities and combined they have the expertise and experience to transfer this knowledge in this workshop. If you are a teacher and would like to use yoga with your students, then this workshop is for you.

Summer Dates

Youth Yoga Teacher Training

This program will offer youth a certified yoga certificate so that they can teach a series of postures, breath and mediation to their classmates in class at lunch or as a after school program.
We believe so strongly in the power of our youth to create vast change on our earth that when we teach them to teach the connection of yoga to their peers we will see a faster evolution.
What you can expect:
  • 40 hours of Yoga Training
  • A set sequence of age appropriate postures, breath and meditation
  • A workbook for future reference with all the sequences and mediations laid out in easy to follow and teach format
  • 5 class pass to Inner Revolution Yoga Studio
