Breathwork with Krista Reid

Breathwork is an active meditation technique that facilitates emotional release in a safe and supportive environment. Through full rhythmic breathing, the conscious mind softens, allowing us to tune into our body wisdom to heal current stress, past wounds, and traumas. The workshop begins with a guided meditation and writing exercise to help participants identify what needs to shift/heal in their lives and their intentions for the session. You will then find a comfortable position lying down and I will guide you through the Breathwork for 35-40 minutes, all set to a cosmic soundtrack, and ending with deep relaxation. During the final phase of the workshop, we gather together in circle and share our experience, if we feel called to, and I will answer any questions you may have about the Breathwork. Breathwork has the power to change emotional default settings and lifetime patterns of depression, anxiety and addiction by feeling and clearing with the breath. This innovative therapy aims to connect you to your intuition, creativity and self-worth. Above all, this practice nourishes the heart; helping you to align with feelings of deep appreciation and self-love. Please bring a water bottle, journal, and wear layers to keep warm.

Sound Bath with Rebecca Whiteraven

Sound baths are meant to help facilitate a shift in your brainwave state. Through frequency and entrainment with sound it’s possible, and very easy, to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), with the majority of people able to reach theta (meditative state) and even delta (where internal healing can occur). This experience is helpful for anyone who wants to give themselves a moment of relaxation or gain the benefits from meditation.
The sounds are created by a wide range of instruments with different frequencies which can include pulse drumming, Biosonic tuning forks, gongs, shruti box, Himalayan singing bowl, mbiru, various percussion, chimes, and gongs.

Inner Retreat to Nature

Come visit rural Nova Scotia on the Bay of Fundy to join our Inner Retreat to Happiness. On August 17 come and immerse yourself in a rustic, yoga, meditation, and inner work journey. This journey will include mindfulness, halotherapy, forest bathing, and a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience a true and deep connection with the earth in your mind, body, and spirit.

This is a off grid permaculture-based homesteading farming community striving to live in harmony with the natural surroundings, located on almost 140 acres of forest on the North Mountain of the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia.

Functional Yoga Teacher Training

Functional Yoga Teacher Training is a two-day workshop lead by Tatianna Graham (Physiotherapist, Yoga Instructor) and Brenna Bellhouse (Educator, Yoga Studio Owner). The workshop is geared towards physical education teachers and other teachers who are interested in incorporating yoga into their curriculum. After completing the FYT workshop, teachers will receive an FYT certification and be able to confidently lead their students in a basic physical yoga practice. The benefits of yoga are tremendous. To name a few, yoga fosters mind-body awareness, physical strength and flexibility, confidence, enhanced sport performance, focus, and improves sleep. Research tells us that there are many positive effects of practicing yoga in schools. There is no minimum age that is required to begin practicing yoga; however, being able to teach yoga effectively and safely is key to truly reap its benefits. This is why Tatianna and Brenna have created this program, as they are passionate about introducing yoga to the school communities and combined they have the expertise and experience to transfer this knowledge in this workshop. If you are a teacher and would like to use yoga with your students, then this workshop is for you.

It’s Your Teacher Training

Take a deeper dive into your practice and become certified to teach yoga. This 100 hour training has a strong emphasis on personal growth and mindfulness. Our training is based on giving you practical knowledge of postures, in-depth anatomy lessons, pranayama (breath) techniques, meditation, sequencing, philosophy and business skills. Tatianna and Brenna have created a comprehensive training from their diverse backgrounds to ensure a transformative experience on your mat. Your Guides Brenna Bellhouse is the owner of Inner Revolution Yoga Studio with over 15 years of experience with yoga and business on and off her mat. Her diverse background in Kinesiology, Business, Religion and Buddhism gives her guidance a uniquely spiritual and business minded approach. Tatianna Graham is an experienced yoga instructor and physiotherapist. She has over 6 years of experience teaching various yoga classes in the community and over 8 years of experience treating clients with various conditions. Her expertise in the human body, safe movement and mindfulness gives her guidance a uniquely functional and holistic approach.
